About Me
I deeply respect and trust that the intimate relationship between therapist and client is co-created and crucial to healing. This tender opportunity to use connection and "being seen" by a present-centered and attuned therapist is an access route to better knowing oneself.
I am a psychotherapist, educator, and trauma specialist with over twenty years of experience working at the intersection of attachment, complex trauma, and embodied healing.
My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationship — not only in the therapy room, but in the spaces among clinicians, communities, and systems. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals, couples, and professionals in healing the relational wounds that shape present-day functioning.
I approach treatment from a place of curiosity, respect, and trust in the human capacity for connection and repair - and ultimately a return to self.
I am a psychodynamic/relational therapist, with extensive training in complex trauma and dissociation, including incorporating body-centered interventions. I am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Levels I & II) and am currently pursuing advanced training in Deep Brain Reorienting.
My clinical experience spans outpatient therapy, family systems work, medical environments, and an outpatient trauma center.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am a trainer, consultant, and educator. I co-created a long-running two-year trauma training program, created and facilitate The Relational Lab, for both early years and advanced therapists committed to deepening their capacities as relational therapists, teach Couples and Relationship Therapy at the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work and provide local and national trainings for many organizations, including the March of Dimes.
I am the Co-Director of the Chicago Chapter of A Home within

My Mission
My practice is grounded in a commitment to ethical mental health treatment across a wide range of presenting concerns, with a speciality in the treatment of trauma. This includes an ongoing commitment to deconstructing implicitly held biases and acknowledging the impact of systems of oppression and the harm and suffering they cause individuals, families and communities. My practice seeks to contribute to the growth of a more compassionate humanity, where each of us has equitable access to resources (including anti-oppressive mental health treatment) for a life of presence with joy.
I serve on the advisory board for Child Thrive of Children's Place Association Chicago and as a volunteer therapist and co-Clinical Director of the Chicago Chapter of A Home Within.
